Who is Eligible for Yuva Sathi?

To apply for the ₹1,500 monthly allowance under the new Yuva scheme, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Residency: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
  • Age Limit: Applicant must be between 21 and 40 years of age.
  • Education: Must have passed Madhyamik (Class 10) or equivalent.
  • Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed and not enrolled in regular studies (Distance education students may apply).
  • Other Schemes: Must NOT be receiving financial assistance from other state schemes (Exceptions: Student Credit Card, Lakshmir Bhandar beneficiaries may still need to check specific camp guidelines).

How to Apply Online & Offline

Method 1: Offline Camps (Recommended)

The government is organizing special camps in every Block and Municipality from Feb 15 to Feb 26, 2026.

  1. Download the form from the link above or collect it from the camp.
  2. Fill in your personal details (Name, Father's Name, Address, Qualification).
  3. Attach the required documents.
  4. Submit it at the counter and collect your Acknowledgement Receipt.

Method 2: Online Application

For the older Yuvashree scheme, registration is done via the Employment Bank:

  1. Visit employmentbankwb.gov.in.
  2. Click on "New Enrollment Job Seeker".
  3. Fill out the details and get your Registration Number.
  4. Once your name appears in the waiting list, submit Annexure-1 and Annexure-2.

Q: Can I apply for Yuva Sathi if I am already registered in Employment Bank (Yuvashree)?
A: Yes, but you cannot receive benefits from both. The new Yuva Sathi scheme is specifically for ages 21-40 with Madhyamik pass. If you switch, you may need to surrender the previous benefit.
